Australian Shepherds
Virtually unknown outside the United States, the Australian Shepherd is now increasing in popularity because of its obedient & willing nature.
Australian Shepherds were originally bred as a working shepherd for the varied climates of California.
They have adopted superbly to both family and service dog work,
especially in search and rescue.
Aussie's are affectionate and playful but maintain the basic working instinct.
The Australian Shepherd
weighs 35 to 70 lbs. and
stands 18-23" at the shoulders.
