Terms:
1. Deposits are non-refundable.
2. Payment may be made by cash, money order, cashiers check, or wire transfer. No cat will be released to buyer until FULL payment is received and processed by seller.
3. If shipping is required, the buyer agrees to pay around $260 (for kitten, grown cat will be higher) which includes airflight (each airline has different prices, depend which airline will fly to your area, the price will change) veterinarian exam & health certificate around $60, travel carrier around $45 and delivery to the airport $45.
4. For kittens purchased without breeding rights, spay/neuter must be completed. Buyer will provide the seller with written veterinarian confirmation of the procedure before registration will be released. Seller agrees to sign this kitten’s registration papers over to the Buyer within 30 days of receipt of all the appropriate documentation.
5 The Seller is transferring this cat to the Buyer in good faith as a healthy and well cared for animal. Seller GUARANTEES this cat to be free from feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). The Buyer is encouraged to have the cat checked by a veterinarian of the Buyers own preference within a period of 72 hrs after the date of sale (or date cat leaves Siameseplz Cattery in the event the cat is being shipped). Any medical condition discovered at that time shall be reported to the seller within one day of diagnosis. Written veterinarian diagnosis shall then be sent to seller by the following day. If a serious congenital or life-threatening condition is discovered, seller will replace the kitten with one of equal value from seller’s cattery within 9 months. No cash refunds will be given. Guarantee is only valid if a licensed veterinarian makes diagnosis, and his/her written statement is provided as proof. If professional medical care is given to the cat during this 72-hour period, the Buyer shall be responsible for all veterinary or other professional expenses incurred on behalf of the cat.
6. It is strongly recommended that the kitten be quarantined from other pets for at least 14 days. Be mindful that the stress induced in an animal when going to a new home may cause symptoms of illness, including upper respiratory infection, to appear in an otherwise healthy animal.
7. IF BUYER OR SELLER COMMENCES ANY LEGAL ACTION AS A RESULT OF THIS OR ANY OTHER CONTRACT, BUYER AND SELLER AGREES THAT THE PLACE OF VENUE FOR SUCH ACTION SHALL BE AT AMADOR COUNT, CALIFORNIA. Buyer/Seller assents to personal jurisdiction within such venue regardless of their place of residence and agrees that any judgment obtained is enforceable within the jurisdiction that they reside in as if obtained with that jurisdiction
8. THE ABOVE CAT HAS BEEN OR WILL BE INOCULATED AT 7 WEEKS OF AGE FOR: 1. PANALEUKOPENIA, 2. VIRAL RHINOTRACHEITIS, 3. FELINE CALICIVIRUS
Due to the possible side effects to certain vaccines that may pose as a health risk to our kittens, we do not immunize for FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), Feline Leukemia and Chlamydia and if this treatment is implemented, then all health guarantees implied or specified will become null and void.
9. The seller considers herself to be a professional hobbyist pedigree Siamese and Balinese breeder, and as such has a keen interest in insuring the genetic health of the lines involved in her breeding program. The adults are monitored and tracked to insure healthy, even-tempered kittens that meet and maintain strict adherence to CFA breed standards. While the strict health of this animal cannot be guaranteed except as noted above, the seller welcomes and encourages any dialog between the buyer and the seller.
Both parties must initial deletions or additions to this contract. Aware that this Agreement of Sale is for mutual benefit, we hereby affix our signatures:
